Meet Rudy, San Marcos' native barber since 1976. With over four decades of experience, he mastered the art of barbering during his 12 years in the Navy. In 1992, he joined Lamar's Barbershop, eventually taking over and rebranding it as San Marcos Barbershop in 2013.
Rudy's expertise lies not only in his use of traditional vacuum clippers but also in his passion for motorcycles, Hot Rods, and music. Veterans and active-duty military members receive special recognition, honoring Rudy's Navy background.

Meet Mari, a true Kyle, TX native and a skilled barber with a license dating back to 2015. In October 2022, Mari decided to bring her expertise and vibrant personality to San Marcos Barbershop. Beyond the artistry of her barbering, Mari is a dedicated enthusiast of classic vehicles, finding beauty in their timeless designs. As a lover of live music, she often seeks out local performances, adding a rhythm to her life outside the barbershop.
Mari's culinary tastes are as diverse as her skills—she's a self-proclaimed taco aficionado. Whether it's the perfect blend of flavors or the joy of discovering a hidden gem, Mari knows her tacos. On the flip side, Mari strongly despises the cold. You'll find her bundled up during winter, dreaming of warmer days.
